UAE Launches New Golden Visa for Indians: No Investment Needed, Life-Long Validity

United Arab Emirates (UAE) has launched a new Golden Visa policy specifically for Indian nationals. This nomination-based residency program allows professionals like nurses, educators, digital creators, and others to secure a life-long Golden visa of the UAE by paying a fee of AED 1,00,000 (approximately ₹23.3 lakh in Indian Rupees).

Previously, Indians were required to buy property or a heavy business investment to get Dubai’s Golden Visa.

Under the “new nomination-based visa policy,” Indians can now enjoy the UAE’s Golden Visa for life by paying a fee of AED 1,00,000 (INR around 23.30 lakh), beneficiaries and people involved in the process have told news agency PTI. Over 5,000 applications are expected to be submitted for the nomination-based visa in three months, they said.

India and Bangladesh are the first countries selected to test this new visa model, with the Rayad Group overseeing the nomination process in India. Over 5,000 applications are expected from Indian citizens in just the first three months. The application process for Dubai’s Golden Visa involves background verification, including criminal records checks and social media activity, followed by UAE government approval.

Benefits of UAE Golden Visa

UAE Launches New Golden visa comes with multiple benefits, such as the right to sponsor family members, hire domestic help, and engage in any professional or business activity in the UAE. Importantly, the nomination-based visa remains valid for life, even if the applicant sells the property or changes professions, unlike the older property-based system.

The initiative is part of the UAE’s strategy to strengthen economic and cultural ties with CEPA (Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement) countries, at first starting with India and Bangladesh.

According to Rayad Kamal Ayub, managing director of the group, Applications can be submitted through One VASCO centres (visa concierge service company) in India and Bangladesh, registered offices, online portal, or dedicated call centre.
