About the Role

QuillBot is hiring an SEO Specialist to drive organic growth through data-driven and impactful SEO strategies. The ideal candidate will have strong technical SEO knowledge, analytical skills, and a proven record of increasing organic traffic and search rankings.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute high-impact SEO strategies aligned with overall growth goals.
• Perform advanced technical SEO audits covering crawlability, indexability, schema, and Core Web Vitals.
• Manage keyword strategy and ensure all content is optimized for user intent and semantic relevance.
• Improve on-page elements such as metadata, headers, internal linking, and content structure.
• Work closely with product, engineering, and marketing teams to ensure SEO best practices.
• Conduct competitor analysis and respond to Google algorithm updates.
• Plan and execute off-page SEO and link-building campaigns to enhance domain authority.
• Monitor SEO performance using GA4, Search Console, Ahrefs, and SEMrush, providing actionable insights.

Required Qualifications

• 5–7 years of proven experience in SEO for large-scale websites or SaaS platforms.
• Strong track record of achieving Top 3 Google rankings for competitive keywords.
• Expertise in SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Sitebulb, and Google Analytics (GA4).
• Solid understanding of Schema.org, hreflang, canonical tags, redirects, and technical debugging.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret large data sets.
• Excellent communication skills to work with technical and non-technical teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with B2B SaaS, AI, or tech companies.
• Familiarity with programmatic SEO, international SEO, and Agile workflows.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.
