About India AI Mission
India AI is a national mission by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) to build an AI ecosystem in India. It focuses on easy AI access, improving data quality, and innovation while promoting ethical and inclusive AI development.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with the Government of India’s data policies and guidelines.
- Easy flow for data collection practices across ministries.
- Provide support for data management, entry, verification, and integrity.
- Build and maintain high-quality data repositories.
- Perform data cleaning, analysis, and insight generation.
- Conduct quality assurance checks on datasets.
- Document technical decisions and data workflows.
- Prepare dashboards and reporting tools.
- Create and promote SOPs for data storage, archival, and deletion.
- Extract and integrate data from various government sources.
Educational Qualification
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, economics, statistics, or related fields from a recognized university/institute.
- Certifications in data analytics, data science, or data/information management from a recognized university/institute are preferred.
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be an Indian citizen.
- Candidates pursuing or having completed graduation/post-graduation in relevant technical fields.
- Good knowledge of data analysis, visualization tools, and handling large datasets.
- Willingness to work with multiple government departments and ministries.
