MAKAUT stands for Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal. It is a public technical university located in Haringhata, West Bengal, India. Formerly, it was known as West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT).

MAKAUT Internship 2025 Details

MAKAUT Student Internship Program 2025 is under the ISEA Project Phase-III sponsored by Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY), Govt of India in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, MAKAUT, WB, Haringhata, Nadia-741249.

The internship opportunity is purely temporary and it is coterminous with the project.All original testimonials would be required to be produced for verification purposes at the time of interview/joining.

The duration for the internship program is 45-60 days.

Eligibility, Selection Process & Stipend

Final Year Students of M.E/M. Tech, BE/B Tech, MCA, M.Sc in Computer Science & Engineering or related branches are eligible for the MAKAUT Internship Program 2025. Students will work on IoT Security, Network Security related projects.

Selection Criteria

MAKAUT will go through a walk‑in interview process. Interested candidates need to bring their CV, photocopies of certificates (from the 10th standard onward), and an application letter to join the internship.

The interviews will be held at MAKAUT’s City Campus in Salt Lake, Kolkata, reporting time at 11 AM.

Stipends

Selected interns will get a fixed stipend of ₹20,000 for the entire internship period. This internship will give candidates a hands‑on project over 45–60 days. After successful completion of the intership, candidates will get an experience certificate from the Vice-Chancellor

of Makaut University.

How to Apply Online?

Eligible candidates may appear before the Walk-in-Interview on the scheduled date with the following documents:

1. A copy of the complete application in plain paper addressed to “The CI: Dr. Santanu Phadikar, Associate Professor, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, Haringhata, P.O.- Simhat, Pin – 741249, Dist. Nadia” with the following subject line “Student Internship under the ISEA Project Phase-III)”
2. Three copies of the Curriculum Vitae duly signed by the candidates. Affix a passport size colour photograph on the front page of the Curriculum Vitae.
3. Photocopies of all self-attested testimonials, certificate including mark sheets from 10th onwards along with the original for verification of the same should also be brought along. Candidates should mention their contact
   number and email addresses in the application.
4. Reporting time: 11 AM on the 21st January, 2025 at the interview venue.
5. Date and time of the Interview: 21st January, 2025, from 12 PM and onwards
