Role Overview

The Content Developer will create standard operating procedures (SOPs) for risk and fraud investigators and draft email communications for Amazon customers across global markets.

The core responsibility of this role is to enhance readability, usability, and discoverability of content — taking full ownership of both investigator and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop SOP documents and customer-facing messaging using Amazon’s global style guide
  • Work closely with cross-country stakeholders to understand business, compliance, and legal requirements
  • Improve content quality proactively by identifying gaps and enhancement opportunities
  • Manage multiple content projects and team initiatives in parallel
  • Troubleshoot content-related tooling issues and coordinate fixes with the relevant tech teams
  • Contribute to team-level goals supporting global operations

About the Team

The CTCM team manages and updates content used by investigators across regions including the US, UK, Costa Rica, Ireland, and India. The team uses data insights to ensure content is simple, relevant, and able to answer user questions before they arise. Success is defined by high-quality, clear, and globally effective documentation.

Basic Qualifications

  • Proven experience in editing, copy-editing, and proofreading
  • Experience managing projects, deadlines, and multiple stakeholders
  • Experience with content management systems and content tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to troubleshoot content and tool issues and report via the right channels
  • Experience collaborating with global and diverse teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Linguistics, or similar
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Technical Writer, Editor, or Content Strategist
  • Knowledge of HTML, XML, or DITA
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Exposure to Amazon’s Customer Trust Operations or customer-related business processes
